Divvy Desk Open House

Divvy Desk Open House

Local downtown business Divvy Desk is having its first Open House today from 4-5 pm at their location on Courtland Street. This unique co-working space allows for entrepreneurs who usually work from their homes, coffee shops or even Panera Breads to rent private offices or open space desks and be able to work alongside others in a collaborative environment. For owner Justin Peay, the world of traditional office spaces is composed of unnecessary and costly square feet. With this creative solution, Peay and other local creative entrepreneurs are able to pay for only the space that they need in an environment that allows for sharing ideas as well as sharing space. Divvy Desk offers four private office spaces as well as eight open space desks. Currently housed in these co-working spaces are a design agency, freelance IT service, marketing agency, web developer and filmmaker. Diving headfirst into this realm, Peay’s biggest surprise is that, “It’s working!” He is thrilled with the involvement and enthusiasm of the community and excited to expand this community to allow for more creatives to have the space to thrive.

Be sure to visit Divvy Desk at 19 Courtland Street in beautiful Downtown Statesboro and attend their Open House!
