Kicking off Downtown F1RST Friday this August

The Downtown Statesboro Development Authority will kick off their season of F1rst Friday’s with the Downtown Pep Rally on August 6th from 5:30-8 pm at the Statesboro Courthouse. The event will showcase local high school marching bands, football teams, and cheerleading squads.

The 2021 Downtown Pep Rally is a public event celebrating local High School Football teams in Bulloch County. Rhan Hutcheson, the Executive Director of the Averitt Center for the Arts, will introduce each of the teams  as they take the stage on the Courthouse Steps.

Join the community and show some team spirit in celebrating each school. Rhan Hutcheson will interview the coaches and some of the key players to discuss their teams’ upcoming seasons.
