Ag Night Out

Ag Night Out

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the  Downtown Statesboro Development Authority to promote Agribusiness as a top industry in Bulloch County and the region. They will host their annual First Friday Ag Night Out presented by event on October 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on East Main St.
The community is invited to enjoy a family friendly night in downtown Statesboro. Everyone can get an up-close view of farm equipment used by local farmers and purchased by local suppliers. Agriculture has a significant impact on our local economy. People can come and learn more about the Chamber’s Ag partners and listen to some tunes from The Ripley’s.

There will be a “farm” themed costume contest for children ages 0-5 and 6-10.

The Chamber thanks Agri Supply of Statesboro, Ag Night Out Presenting Sponsor and the Gold Sponsors Tidewater Equipment, Maginnis Orthodontics, Shea Tractor and Equipment Company,  Shoemaker Equipment and Irrigation Supply. These sponsors have been generous in investing in agribusiness and to the Chamber. The event will feature a variety of locally grown foods, live entertainment, educational farm exhibits, farm animals, tractor displays. Other activities include around fifty vendors, a Party Harbor bouncy.

“Getting to see how excited the children get to climb up on the farm equipment is one of my favorite parts of Ag Night Out. I love watching everyone partcipate and have a great time.” said Allen Muldrew, Executive Director at Downtown Statesboro.

East Main Street will be closed from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. for pedestrian safety.

Everyone is invited to Ag Night Out! Come and enjoy boiled peanuts, country music, food trucks, tractors, and much more.
