Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful (KSBB) is proud to announce the return of the 10th annual GreenFest, featuring the exciting addition of a Cycle Celebration. GreenFest is a vibrant community event promoting sustainability, local business, and healthy living, taking place Saturday, March 28, from 1 to 5 p.m. in downtown Statesboro along East Vine St. This free festival brings together
residents, families, students, and visitors for an afternoon of connection, hands-on activities, and opportunities to support local organizations and businesses.
Attendees can explore a variety of local food truck vendors, farmers, and sustainability-focused organizations, while enjoying music and a lively atmosphere
in the heart of downtown. GreenFest will also feature interactive exhibits and educational activities designed to help community members learn more about sustainable living, waste reduction, and ways to keep Statesboro clean, green,
and beautiful.
New for 2026, GreenFest will feature a Cycle Celebration that highlights the importance of alternative transportation and encourages residents to get active outdoors. Community members are invited to
bring their bikes for a day of pedal-powered fun.
Activities will include a Bike Parade and Decorating Contest, where participants of all ages can showcase
their creativity with colorful and sustainable bike designs, as well as a Bicycle Safety Course that provides
a guided opportunity for riders to sharpen their safety skills and build confidence on two wheels.
The event will also feature a Fix-It Fair, where localexperts will offer free tips and hands-on help with basic
bicycle repairs to help keep riders rolling.
Beyond the cycling festivities, GreenFest will serve as a marketplace for a greener tomorrow, showcasing local farmers, artists, small businesses, and partner organizations. Visitors can discover fresh local flavors, browse environmentally friendly products, and participate in hands-on educational exhibits
hosted by community groups working to reduce waste, protect natural resources, and beautify neighborhoods throughout Statesboro and Bulloch County.
GreenFest demonstrates how communities thrive when residents come together to support local businesses, connect with neighbors, and embrace environmental stewardship.
KSBB is currently seeking additional local businesses and nonprofits, bicycle parade participants, and chalk artists, offering aunique
opportunity to connect with a community that values sustainability and local impact.
