In the heart of Downtown Statesboro, a bridal boutique is helping brides find the dress of their dreams while embracing the special moments that lead to forever. However, GG Forever is more than just finding a wedding dress. It is an experience where every bride feels beautiful, valued, celebrated, and truly seen.
Located at 1 South Main Street, GG Forever opened its Statesboro location in August 2026, bringing a unique experience to a community that holds a special place in owner Suzanne Lake’s heart. As a graduate of Georgia Southern University, she and her husband, Matt began part of their story in Statesboro, claiming “Statesboro has always had a special place in our hearts,” making the opening of GG Forever a meaningful homecoming for their family.
GG Forever is the next chapter in a legacy that began back in 2008 with Garden Gate, which is what we now know as GG Formals. Throughout the years, Lake has had the privilege of helping generations of young women find the perfect looks for pageants, proms, and other special occasions. Which then inspired GG Forever, because to her, the relationship with the girls doesn’t end after they purchase their dress, she continues to celebrate them as they become brides and begin their own “forever.”
Influenced by Lake’s travels and love of timeless European beauty, the boutique was designed to make bridal shopping feel intimate, meaningful, and unforgettable. For Lake, the most rewarding part is helping each bride find a gown that reflects her personality and vision. She says, “there is nothing quite like being part of the moment when a bride finds ‘the one’”
Although new to Downtown Statesboro, GG Forever has already felt the warmth and support of the community and looks forward to building relationships with local brides, families, and fellow business owners while becoming a lasting part of Downtown.
Through GG Forever, Lake hopes to continue the GG tradition of celebrating women through every season and milestone of their life, creating meaningful memories that continue even after the special occasion has passed.
